I’ve always approached the world from a design perspective, seeking to fuse the worlds of engineering and art, of function and form. Because in reality one does not follow the other: they are inseparable. To focus exclusively on one is to neglect the other.  I’ve tailored my education in a way that has allowed me to deepen my knowledge and cultivate expertise in both fields while exploring many mediums in which to apply them. This path has been anything but a straight line, but I feel fortunate to have walked its every convoluted corner. Thus far I've acquired a unique set of skills, as well as the grit necessary to put them to proper use. I plan to continue doing so this fall as I enter my fifth year and begin capstone projects in both Creative Technology & Design and Mechanical Engineering majors. Also my list of planned expeditions to rocks, rivers and couloirs keeps growing.
I don't think I'll ever reach the end.
